Moor Park Primary took part in World Book Day 2020 when we celebrated this event across the span of two weeks. The first week involved lots of fun reading events such as Year 2 getting to visit the Library and taking part in a 48 hour sponsored read! We also had the wonderful Mrs G and the Reading Teepee in school and author Dan Worsley ended our celebration by delivering an inspiring assembly. We look forward to next year's celebration!

"World Book Day is a registered charity on a mission to give every child and young person a book of their own. It’s also a celebration of authors, illustrators, books and (most importantly) it’s a celebration of reading. In fact, it’s the biggest celebration of its kind, designated by UNESCO as a worldwide celebration of books and reading, and marked in over 100 countries all over the world."
