Another visit from Spellbinder
To celebrate World Book Day we had a visit from Spellbinder. This time, he told us the stories of Johnny Appleseed and the Shirt of Happiness. As usual we loved singing, dancing and joining in with the special parade.

Celebration of World Book day.
To celebrate World Book Day, the nursery children listened to Spellbinder tell a variety of stories. They had lots of fun joining in with the singing and dancing.
3SK Testing Rocks
This week we have been testing different rocks. We wanted to know whether different rocks would float or sink.
1MM Traditional Tales Day
We had a great time on Friday. We had Goldilocks porridge for breakfast, decorated gingerbread men, tested bridges for the Billy Goats Gruff and write about what we'd like to find at the top of the beanstalk. Our costumes were fabulous too.

Last Friday all Reception and Year One dressed up as different characters from traditional tales. We had a great day, decorating gingerbread men, designing bridges and imaging what would be at the top of the beanstalk. Then finishing the day off with a fun party and fancy dress…
Positive Partnerships in PE
Year 2 enjoyed their PE session with BFC coach James on Thursday.
We were learning how to work well with a partner, give positive feedback and next steps to improve. We had to score as many points as possible whilst accurately throwing and catching.

The Rule Of Law
Year 4 took part in a courtroom scene this afternoon. Keira played the defendant, who had stolen some bread to feed her starving family. Jack made an excellent judge and the jury had a really hard time in deciding the verdict.

Visiting the Construction Workers in the Outdoor Area
